Hello,

My name is Tapaita Daligidig I am a college student at BYU-Idaho studying and majoring in marriage and family. I grew up in Gilbert, Arizona and graduated from Highland High school where the non-member rate is 10%. I was raised by a single mother in a family of foster and adopted siblings, the idea of "forever families" never sat right with me. I could never wrap my head around being sealed to one or two abusive parents who were unable to provide the parental needs here on earth. As a teen or young adult that is faced with troubles understanding basic concepts of a healthy relationships the gospel can be confusing at times especially when discussing the topic of eternal families. My goal is to shine a light on healthy family relationship for teens and young-adults from abusive homes to see that they are capable of starting a family the right way.
